Description
T7042 Telehandlers - Expect more, Get more!
The T7042 offers 7 m / 275.59 in lifting height with 4.2 t / 9,259 lb payload and is configurable with two powerful engine variants. The main focus of operational work tasks is heavy material handling, precise stacking work at great heights, good reach when pushing material, and permanent activities when filling systems. The unique and revolutionary Best View Cabin provides a guaranteed perfect all-round visibility. The T7042 has only four pillars in the cabin. In combination with the panoramic rear window, this results in a perfect view to the rear. In addition, the sloped engine bonnet provides an optimum view to the side and rear of the right rear wheel. This telehandler also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of work ergonomics. A cabin has been created keeping in mind the Operator First operating philosophy. This cabin has been developed according to the latest findings in safety technology and ergonomics.

Highlights
Revolutionary Best View Cabin
- The Best View cabin with a unique 4-pillar design and panoramic rear windshield provides an incomparable all-round view. The large, curved front windshield provides an excellent view of the attachment and loading, no matter what the position of the telescopic boom is. The sloped engine hood provides an optimal view to the side and rear of the right rear wheel. The view-optimized, optional protective grate provides the highest level of safety without restricting the view.
- Operator first: In the development of the Weidemann Best View cabin, the operator’s comfort was a top priority. This can be seen in the ergonomic organization of all of the operating elements, as well as the color-oriented operating concept, the high-quality operator seat (optional air-suspension), and the sprung joystick console, large 7-inch display, different storage compartments, and a height and incline adjustable steering wheel.

Power Drive 255: variable hydrostatic transmission
- The Power Drive 255 is a variable, hydrostatic transmission that achieve high thrust power and driving speeds than previously developed solutions. All this while maintaining all of the benefits of the previous traction drive in relation to compactness, energy-efficient, and operator comfort. With the Power Drive 255, speeds of up to 40 km/h / 24.85 mph can be reached without the need to shift gear and/or adjust the mode. This enables a comfortable manner of driving as there are no interruptions to the thrust power.
|
30/40 km/h / 18.64/24.85 mph driving speed
- With the corresponding engine version, the machine optionally reaches a speed of 30/40 km/h / 18.64/24.85 mph. This enables faster implementation of the machine from A to B with the corresponding time-saving and therefore increases productivity.
|
Load arm damping with automatic function
- The load boom dampening can be activated electrically and enables optimal handling of the machine on impassable terrain and while on the road. It is particularly recommended if the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket and/or on the pallet fork, or moves a heavy attachment across a wide stretch at high speed. Here, the load boom dampening provides a clear plus for the operator’s comfort.
- The boom dampening can be completely switched off and/or constantly switched on. Additionally, there is an automatic function. Here, you can use the jog dial to set the driving speed from which the boom dampening should automatically activate. If it falls below the set driving speed again, the load boom dampening is likewise automatically deactivated.
- Lifting arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the operator and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.
|
Flexible trailer operation up to 16 t / 35.274 lb
- The machine can pull a trailer with the optional trailer coupling. There are different systems available: Automatic trailer coupling (height-adjustable), automatic drawbar coupling, ball-hitch trailer coupling K50/K80, Piton-fix and auto-hitch trailer coupling.
- So that large trailer loads can be moved safely, a dual-line air brake system or a hydraulic trailer brake must be used (attention: the national regulations must be adhered to).
- The option of pulling a trailer expands the machine’s spectrum of application and offers more flexibility, as no additional towing vehicle is required.
|
Automatic air-conditioning system
- The air-conditioning system ensures the provision of a comfortable working environment inside the cab with warmer ambient temperatures. A conventional air-conditioning system usually only cools at one level, which can be controlled by the strength of the blower. The Weidemann air-condition system works with sensors and reduces or increases the interior temperature entirely according to the operator’s provisions. This ensures a consistent climate and provides the benefit that the air-conditioning of the cabin can be optimally adapted to the ambient temperature.
- The air-conditioning system increases the operator’s comfort. It enables fatigue-free working conditions as it reduces the operator’s stress when ambient temperatures are warm.
